Calling All CT & Area Peoople

On July 16th we are going to go to a crop at Wiggles & Giggles so if your in the area, come on over. It is from 10am-10pm. I will be bringing another Fiskateer with me from PA who is in my yahoo group.

In the meantime I was waiting for my computer to come back but it won't be here until maybe Tuesday so I want to catch up on some of my cards and the LO I did at our last crop.

That sandwich board does open and tells the story about working with Bug and some good times.

The scan didn't come out that great and I was told it was because of the glitz. You may not be able to tell from the photo but the vase is 3d and it is glitter....solid glitter. That is why the blurry looking paper and stamp but I assure you it is not blurry in RL.
Blogger is being a pain still so that is all I will upload now. Hope you enjoyed them. My next adventure is tear bears for a swap I am in. This should be fun so check back for your chance to win one.

For today’s project I made Jillian an ice cream cone. Now everybody likes ice cream (well, almost everyone) but I think everyone will like this one….no calories!

The one thing I will say about this is that I could not find the embossing folder for the cone part. There is one (I forget the name off hand) that has squares/diamond shapes on it and it is perfect for making an ice cream cone. I went to 3 stores (hours away) and still didn’t find it so the best I could do is to come up with this brown textured looking paper.

   

Just a little note….I put lots of ice cream on that cone however you can start it lower and arrange it so when you flip it over, the ice cream does not show above the white paper if that bothers you.

Spring is here....and here is the card to prove it!

This card was made with paper I had in my stash, Martha Stewart Double Arch Punch, and the flower I made from an unlikely source. (Want to know from what and how...just leave a post asking me.) The hummingbird is a sticker and the other embellishments I won in my yahoo group as a bingo prize.

Another Win!!!

The goodies came in from Freda over there at Scrap-A-Rama. I can't believe how much I got. I was thrilled with just winning a cartridge and I got all these with it. In fact, I was so excited when I opened the box that there was the new color of Stickles in there called Tropical Tangerine and I put it on my self and forgot to put it back with the winnings for the picture. (Did I ever tell you I am a Stickles Junkie???)  Thank you Freda!

Mail came today and I got a box from Penny Duncan. I knew I won the blog candy on her site right after the hop when she picked the winners but to get it and open it....I tell you what, you think her roses are beautiful on her blog, wait until you see them in person.
