Nominated to share my projects by Teresa Godines - Day 2

I made a card using Stampin Up products. I really had fun doing it and learned a great new technique for making bubbles or water spots. I also learned I was using my stamps wrong. The flower on this card is a Stampin Up 3 part/piece stamp for the flower. I always thought you put your darkest color on first, then layer on the lighter colors. Well, it turned out that I should have done it the other way, lightest to darkest. I know, I know, it don't make sense to me either. It seems to go against logic but I love the way the flower came out. So....my suggestion is to play with your stamps and try them both ways to see which you like.

The Brightest Star in My Sky

This is a page I did for Liftateers.

I used some Fiskars Stamps and the Stamp Press to do it. I also used SCAL, my Cricut, and a whole lot of Stickles. There are a few star shaped brads and I used a white pen to draw each star in the background  let it dry then go over it in Stickles. I also used my Copics to color the bear (Stampin Up Stamp) and the star he is holding is from some cheap box set I got years ago after Christmas. I think I paid $3 and there is something like 12 little stamps in it with tiny ink pads. I am sure you know the kind....but hey, it worked. The only thing I didn't do is put the Stickles on the big star. I was going to put it just on the edges so it looks like it is glowing but I learned from experience not to do this and then expect to get a good picture. It won't happen. So before I go to bed I will put some Stickles around that star and it will be complete.

Stampin Up Card

Here is a cute card I made using stampin up products. It was easy and fast yet doesn't look too plain. I tend to need some fast and easy cards because birthdays always seem to sneak up on me.   I have a lot of shadows in it since it is dimensional but just ignore them.

Inside is a pop out which is hard to tell from the scan but that box pops out at you.

I hope you like it.

Stampin Up Card

I love how the Stampin Up inks can be used for a shadow effect with their paper. Here is a card using Stampin Up products.

Stampin Up Card

I did this card for a lift off of Suzi on Card Lifters (Fiskateers). It is made with all Stampin Up products. (Don't mind the bow smashed up on the scanner glass.)

Orange Blog Hop is Over but here is a New Card

Now that the "Orange Blog Hop" is over I will be busy making a list of names for the drawing of the candy. Good Luck to all of you.

I made this Christmas card with all Stampin Up products. The one thing I should point out is that the tree is flattened against the scanner glass so it looks flat with like a two layer tree. When you pick it up the tree opens and the "flap" of the trees stand sort of straight out giving it a real 3 dementional tree.
The card is in a "Z" like pattern. I am not sure what the name of this type of card is but it is the first time I made one. I really love how simple yet pretty it is. I hope you do too.

New Manly Card

I have a problem finding the right images or colors for a card or even a page for a male. Yeah a little flower or even a little pink will go on the kids page but what about a full grown man? None I know of. Heck, now a days the little ones tell me flowers are for girls...LOL. With the help of Stampin Up I have found a great image and got to play with the water color crayons. This is the card I did. It is not perfect but I love it.
Sorry about the bow. When I put it on the scanner I didn't check it but I am sure you can figure out the way it is suppose to go.
