It's that time of year when watermelons are chillin', grills are heating up, firecrackers are ready to light, and Americans celebrate with "Star-spangled happiness and banner waves of pride" (Cherishe Archer)!
Welcome to Your Scrapbook Place Blog Patriotic Blog Hop! The theme is love of America and the color RED. If you're coming here from Shannon's Blog, you are on the right path. If you lose your way, you can start fresh at Your Scrapbook Place.
Designers are using a special image from one of their own, Pammie Lehto.
Today I made this card in hopes of capturing the picnics, firecrackers, and the love of America and the celebration of Independence (4th of July).
Recipe:

Cardstock - Coordination and Prism
Copic Markers
Copic Opaque White
Copic Multiliner
Mrs. Grossman's Stickers (these fireworks really shimmer!)
Pop Dots

I printed the image twice and used one to cut out some of the flowers so I could pop them in front giving a more dimensional look.

ReplyDeleteThanks Linda,
DeleteI just wish I could color these better. I guess it is practice and more practice that I need (and better control of my hands so they don't jerk and shake) but I will be working on it. Happy 4th to you.
Great idea using the blanket and very nice coloring job!
