I just discovered it today and I am so upset I could just cry.
The thought of all the work to take down all my shelves and fix this wall is mind blowing. That don't even include the painting. If you remember I just did this room and got it painted and the shelves up. To top it off, I won't have a scrap room while all this work is going on.....again.
Sorry to hear that Sue.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gail. I will get over it. I guess it is the shock at first discovering it that got to me. I know there are a lot worse things that could happen then water in my wall/ceiling.
DeleteI don't blame you for wanting to cry. That is terrible! I hope it's a relatively inexpensive and easy fix.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy. We have a $500 deductible with our home insurance company so I am not even sure what little we would get would be worth even putting a claim in. The way insurance companies seem to work, we may get a couple hundred and then have our rates increase since we put a claim in. I think we will have to fix it ourselves but it is going to have to wait until spring. It just isn't a good time to start cutting walls out and playing with insulation when it is too cold to open windows or any other form of air circulation.
