Bit of a Scare

Jerry had a heart attach years ago and had two stents put in. He remembered what the pain felt like after all these years because it isn't what you think it is. It wasn't something in his chest or his arm, it was across his shoulders and behind his neck. Anyways, he felt that same pain again so I away to the hospital for another stent. The kids came over to see their dad and that included Mark and his family all the way from FL though that tropical depression sitting there spinning off the Carolina coast. We finally got to meet our granddaughter, Melanie for the first time. Before they left I was able to grab a photo of them. Unfortunately, Danny wasn't here but it was nice to get a photo of them together since they live so far away and who knows the next time we will see them.

 

Special Card I Made

Here is a special card I made for my DIL. She found out she was pregnant recently and tomorrow (Tuesday) she is going to the Dr. for her first ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. She wanted me to go with her so I can hear it too. I am so excited.....so I made this card to give them after the appointment.

What you don't see is on the inside on the other side of card is the date (tomorrow's) and I put a red heart on this side of the the inside right after "of your baby's heart" which is bigger so it also is after "for the first time". I also wrote a personal note on the bottom and signed it.

These are not my SVG's so I can't offer them directly to you however if you go to this site and download the silhouettes you can turn them into SVGs. Also, this card I made for Card Lifters. I was inspired by Fiskateer No_Mom 1637.
