New Card Made with Sherri Baldy Stamp

I am at awe at the creations out there. I have a few favorite people I visit daily to see what they are doing. I now got into taking card making up a notch and try my hand at digis. Sherri Baldy has some really cute images that are perfect for cards and coloring with Copics (or whatever you use). Here is the card I made with the inspiration from none other than The Hoosier Stamper. I made it for a challenge but after seeing what the other cards look like, well....they are way out of my league so I won't be entering it.

Update: I did enter it in the challenge after all. I made it for 2 shades of blue (Besties Challenge).

  1. Don't be silly! A lot of blogs and companies offer challenges just so we can improve on our own creativity. And many of them choose winners randomly, not by "style", as everyone has their own likes and dislikes, and their own styles. Your card is lovely! Keep it up!

    1. Thank you Pat for your comment and words of encouragement. I did enter the challenge and you're right, I still can have fun and enter challenges even if I am not where I want to be. I guess I will never get there unless I try and why not have fun along the way. Sort of makes me think of Tim Holtz's saying about enjoying the journey... Thanks.

  2. Oh Sue, this is darling. I think you did a lovely job. I like that she is holding a flower in her hand. So happy that you entered the besties challege.
Funny you mentioned, the hoosier stamper she is great, I would love to make cards like her myself.

    1. Thanks for your comment Sher!
I'm glad you like my card. I think the Hoosier Stamper has a lot of us wishing we can make cards like her. She does beautiful works of art and I love all the lace and sewing she does on them. Another great card maker I watch is Holley Barnhart. They are different in style but both are artistic cardmakers.

    1. Thank you Leah Ann for your comment. I hate to tell you how long it took me to do this. Which I always wondered about you. How do you do all that work on all them cards and have time for anything else. Now I know the answer (checking my clock).....You don't sleep!
