Tattered Flower Card

Tim Holtz is having a Tattered Floral Challenge  and I made this card inspired by a Fiskateer (Cardlifters wk 21) to enter it. I used the Broken China Ink as well as several others, Glimmer Mist, Distressed Stickles, Memento Ink (I don't have a lot of Tim Holtz's Ink Colors so I had to use the green from Memento), Copic Markers, and Fiskars Shapeboss.

(I used Tattered Florals and Tattered Leaves Dies.)

Tried to show the layers of the flower.

Here I try to show the shine but not sure it shows too well.

It really don't look that impressive in the photos but it really is pretty in person.
You can't even tell the petals are curved and curled that much in these photos.

Another great thing is this flower is made from a paper bag.

Keeping America beautiful one flower at a time....

  1. Thanks Gail. I really love the tattered flower, the card not so much...LOL. I did put a lot into the card part though, the two outer stems and flowers are really embossed. So are the lines that frames the card. I just am not that crazy about it. Maybe if I had the right colors it would have looked a whole lot better. Oh well. The next one will be better :)
