Tulle Ribbon Flowers

I started making my own flowers since I always seem to be running out. After watching so many tutorials on how to make flowers with tulle I decided it was great for any shabby chic design (at least the ones I end up making) but I wanted something a little more compact so I can use them on cards. So I started playing and this is what I came up with and instead of using just tulle, I used the tulle ribbon that have the wires on each side. I don't mind the sewing as it is really quick and I love the look of the flower. (or is that a rosette?)

I did this by playing with my ribbon but I am sure I am not the first to come up with this so I bet you can find all kinds of tutorials on the computer of how to make them. If not, just ask.

I ran out of glue dots so the pearl is just sitting on top. The glue dot not only holds the pearl in place but keeps the middle edges down. Naturally if I wanted one thicker, I would just use longer ribbon and I can still make one bigger. This one is made with maybe half ( or less) of the width of the ribbon. The wires let you shape it as you like.

(Remember the one below is smashed between my scanner glass so the only shape you see is flat)
