New Year 2011

I figured now that I have a little bit of a clue how to put a picture on the blog I would start at the beginning. No not the beginning of my scrapbooking time, just the beginning of this year. I saved all the pages I did waiting for the day I can show everyone.
My NEW YEAR page was inspired by someone on eBay. (Sorry but I don't remember her name.) As I said I am new to blogs and at the beginning I didn't know how to follow so eBay pre-made pages were my inspiration, in fact, still are many times. I admit her's was more "impressionable" and "impressive" but I guess that is why she sells her layouts and I keep mine...LOL.

My Party Animal page was made using my Cricut and SCAL. The animals are all mulberry paper (and tissue mulberry). I also used Flowersoft, Stickles, and cotton. I made a SCAL file for the noise makers (what a journey that was!) and the hats were just hand cut. I don't remember the name of the paper, lace, and ribbon but the little lady bug I won from another crafter. Isn't it adorable? Oh and can't forget the Copic Markers! I love them but only have 4 colors...another thing for my wish list. My DH says my tear bear looks drunk, he really isn't. Look closely at the label on the bottle. I had a great New Year and hope you did too.
